Sourdough Pancakes and Waffles
Ingredients:
2 cups warm water
2 cups flour
1 cup starter
2 eggs
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
2 Tbsp sugar
Evening before:
Mix together:
2 cups warm water
2 cups flour
1 cup starter
Cover and let stand in a warm, draft-free place.
In the morning:
Separate the eggs and beat the whites to a soft peak.
Stir the egg yolks, oil, and milk together and mix into starter mixture. Fold in the egg white.
Mix together the salt, baking soda, and sugar. Right before cooking, stir dry ingredients into batter.
